Burnley midfielder Junior Stanislas has joined Bournemouth.
Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe is impressed with the ambition of new signing Stanislas, who turned down the chance to stay at Burnley in favour of first team football with the Cherries.
"He had a big decision to make with the lure of the Premier League, and I'm sure he would have been given a chance at Burnley," Howe told afcb.co.uk.
"It would have been difficult for him to turn down, but thankfully he chose us and the opportunities we will give him.
"We hope to give him the platform to play his best football and hopefully our philosophy fits in with him.
"With a young family, it would have been difficult to leave Manchester but, having seen all those things, I'm sure it's a decision he won't regret."
