Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe is under consideration at West Ham United.
The Sunday Telegraph says Howe is on a long list of potential candidates to succeed Sam Allardyce should West Ham United not agree a new contract with their manager at the end of the season.
In her weekly column in The Sun newspaper, West Ham vice-chairwoman Karren Brady saluted Howe's achievements with West Ham.
She wrote: "Managers say there is no tougher job in football than winning promotion from the Championship.
"So along comes a young man who looks a bit like Robert Redford in his prime, leading a genteel seaside town from League Two to the brink of the Premier League.
"Eddie Howe, bred by and wedded to Bournemouth, is two wins, or maybe less, from creating a legend."
