Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe admits he draws inspiration from Aston Villa counterpart Paul Lambert.
The two teams meet in the FA Cup this weekend.
Howe hopes to follow in the footsteps of his Scottish counterpart after guiding Bournemouth to the top of the Championship.
Howe said: "It is a journey we want to go on, the journey he went on with Norwich was magnificent.
"I think he is doing very well at Villa under tough circumstances.
"I have had quite a few dealings with him in the past.
"He has been an absolute gentleman to me, whether that's been about players or tactically.
"We have had some good battles with Burnley and Norwich teams.
"He is someone I have huge respect for, I would imagine it's very different to jump from being a Championship manager to then managing in the Premier League."
