Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe hopes to convince Chelsea captain John Terry to play on next season.
Bournemouth will return with a summer move for Terry, says the Daily Star.
Terry turned down a Stamford Bridge exit this month in order to see out the remaining five months of his contract.
Howe's side will instead look to capture Terry in the summer when he is likely to be a free agent.
The 36-year-old has also ruled out a move to the USA or China, claiming he did not want to uproot his family.
