Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe is eager to pair Benik Afobe with Callum Wilson once the England under-21 hitman recovers from a knee injury.
Wilson has been sidelined since rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament in September but aims to be back in action next month.
Howe, whose side host Stoke tomorrow, said: “I think Benik can play alongside Callum. It could be exciting.
“It's a big thing when you sign players that you have to have a vision for your team. It's all very well bringing players in but you have to have a vision, not just for now but for the future.
“We have our ideas of what we could and couldn't do but you never know what is round the corner."
