Premier League new-boys Bournemouth are chasing Brentford attacker Jota.

The Mirror says Bournemouth will step up their bid to sign Jota after Brentford missed out on promotion.

Jota scored 11 goals in 46 games for the Bees last campaign following his £1.3million move from Celta Vigo.

The Spanish midfielder still has two years left to run on his deal at Griffin Park, but Bournemouth are ready to hand him the chance to play in the top flight.
