AFC Bournemouth are plotting a winter move for Portsmouth's Conor Chaplin.
The Sun is reporting that Eddie Howe is monitoring the 19-year-old striker who has scored five goals in League Two this season.
The highly-rated Chaplin has been watched by Cherries scouts this season while Fulham, Ipswich Town and Queens Park Rangers have also cast an eye over the lower league talent.
Local boy Chaplin is a Portsmouth academy graduate and is hoping he can follow the footsteps of past Pompey prodigies, such as Newcastle United's Matt Ritchie and Crystal Palace's Joel Ward, in making it to the top.
