Bournemouth attacker Joshua King has revealed that he played through the pain barrier during the previous campaign.
King scored an impressive 16 Premier League goals last term but he has struggled during the current campaign and the Norwegian international has revealed that his slow start this season has been down to an injury suffered during the latter stages of the previous campaign.
He told the Daily Echo: "I was injured for most of the end of last season, since the West Ham game. I came back for pre-season and didn't train for two weeks.
"I was a bit behind the others and was still struggling. I needed a bit more time. It sorted it and my back is fine. All is good now."
