Arsenal skipper Thomas Vermaelen is thrilled with the defensive improvement the side has made under new assistant manager Steve Bould.
The former Gunners defender has helped the team keep a trio of clean sheets to start the Premier League season and Vermaelen has praised the positive influence of his work, particularly with the back four.
"He is our assistant now and has a lot of experience at a high level with Arsenal, " Vermaelen told Sky Sports NewsHD.
"We work a lot on our defensive play and you can see that with our three clean sheets."
