Bould favourite to succeed Rice at Arsenal

Steve Bould is expected to be named new assistant manager at Arsenal.

The Mirror says Bould will take over from Pat Rice, who is stepping down at the end of the season.

Along with Neil Banfield, Bould has done an impressive job with the Arsenal reserves and taught several young players who have progressed into the first team squad.

The likes of Jack Wilshere, Kieran Gibbs, Theo Walcott and Emmanuel Frimpong have all been educated in the Wenger tradition by Bould and Banfield.
