Rangers defender Madjid Bougherra will not quit Rangers because he does not want to ruin his World Cup dream. When asked about his desire to stay in Glasgow by an Algerian newspaper, Bougherra said: "There are several reasons for this.
"The main one is I do not want to move clubs just a few weeks before we start the next World Cup qualifiers.
"I want to keep my place in the squad. It is important to me.
"I do not want to jeopardise that by changing clubs. In addition, I play for a great club called Glasgow Rangers.
"This is where I have managed to raise the standard of my game and I think I can improve even more by staying here."
