Madjid Bougherra says El Hadji Diouf will keep his cool for Rangers against Celtic.

Bougherra is convinced Diouf will continue to keep his temperament in check, no matter what abuse he gets on and off the pitch at Parkhead.

He said: "You can see in the last game he was very quiet, professional and didn't react.

"Dioufy is a fantastic guy. You can ask all the players. He is funny.

"But some players are different people when they come on to the pitch - they forget everything.

"At the moment he is perfect. He has not done one bad thing. I'm confident he knows how to react in the big games. He is too intelligent to react to anything.

"I've played against him for Algeria v Senegal but I didn't wind him up because our countries have a good relationship. It's not like a battle. But it is better to have him on my side than play against him."
