Wigan winger Rachid Bouazouan may have his loan spell cut short at NEC Nijmegen due to breaches of discipline.

It is understood that the 24-year old left the stadium after he was substituted against Heerenveen on the weekend and then had problems with his attitude at training.

"I do not want to dwell too long on that," said Nijmegen coach Mario Been.

"I prefer to look forward.

"But I will say this: I am a very disappointed manager but I had no choice.

"Nobody, I repeat nobody, is more important than the team and Rachid is not."
