Rachid Bouaouzan is preparing to return to Wigan Athletic.

His season-long loan at NEC Nijmegen has gone sour after he was axed to the reserves this week by coach Mario Been for a breach of discipline.

AD/Sportwereld says Bouaouzan's agent is now exploring the possibility of the striker returning to parent club, Wigan.
