Serie A relegation candidates Reggina have produced the shock of the round to defeat Udinese 1-0. Udinese went into the clash unbeaten at home this season whilst the visitors had lost all six of their away fixtures so far this season.

Reggina took the match up to Udinese with some enterprising play, creating several chances in the opening hour.

However the home fans were shocked in the 60th minute when a cracking volley from Reggina's Franco Brienza gave the visitors the lead.

Udinese came close in the dying minutes but Reggina keeper Campagnolo was able to keep his goal intact.
