Botafogo technical director Sidnei Loureiro insists there's been no approach from AC Milan over Clarence Seedorf.

The veteran midfielder is being linked with Massimiliano Allegri's job at Milan.

"Have Milan asked for Seedorf from us? I think it is more necessary to speak with Clarence," Loureiro told reporters this week.

"It is not a matter for Botafogo and the Rossoneri.

"He has a contract with us until June 30, 2014 and, to date, this hypothesis has not been spoken of.

"He trains with us and is very calm."
