Tottenham football chief Damien Comolli is strengthening is position at the club with a deal close to being sealed for Crystal Palace superkid John Bostock.
Chelsea and Liverpool were also chasing the 16 year-old, but Comolli has convinced Bostock and his family he can have a better future at White Hart Lane after talks over the weekend.
The Daily Mail says Comolli, who has an 'uneasy relationship' with manager Juande Ramos, was under increasing pressure at White Hart Lane - but the Frenchman's stock will rise with the signing of Bostock.
