Former Manchester United goalkeeper Mark Bosnich says Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is wrong if he thinks Mikael Silvestre can be his long-term centre-half.

Bosnich played with Silvestre at United and told FoxSports: "I always felt more comfortable with Silvestre at left-back. He's not a centre-half for me.

"Jaap Stam felt the same. We were worried when he played centrally. We both thought he was too tempestuous."
