After injuring his hamstring on Friday night against Perth Glory, it was feared that Mark Bosnich's stint with the Central Coast Mariners would be over. However, MRI scans have revealed that what was originally thought to be a hamstring tear is in fact just a strain. Bosnich will almost surely miss this weekend's match against Adelaide United but is a chance to come up for the following match versus Wellington and has revealed how he was confident of recovering as soon as possible. He said, "As I said after the match, you have to take the good with the bad, but I was confident that this injury would only be a minor setback and I'm thankful that this has proved to be the case. "I'll return to training as soon as possible and with the help of the club and my team mates I'm determined to do all that I can to push my case for a starting berth against the Wellington Phoenix."
