Bosnar hits winner for Shimizu in Japan

Australian defender Eddy Bosnar scored a late goal to give Shimizu S-Pulse all three points against Vissel Kobe in Japan’s J-League overnight.

The 29-year old Sydneysider netted in the 82nd minute to send his side to the top of the table after three matches in the new season.

Shimizu are now two wins and a draw from their three outings and have conceded just one goal. They sit above Sanfrecce Hiroshima and Kashima Antlers on goal difference.

Bosnar, who has previously played Sturm Graz, Dinamo Zagreb, Heracles Alemlo and JEF United, scored his first goal for the season.

Don't know if the Arab was fair dinkum but this is a very interesting topic and extremely interesting player as far as our socceroos go. Having not really known too much of Bosnar previously, having read the comments posted I must admit that serious questioning must go into the national team selection process. This guy has achieved quite a bit and yer has never had a look in. For crying out loud we saw a player (Coyne) playing in the English 3rd tier get 7 caps in a row. Maybe it is Arnold after all. Having looked up bosnars past clubs interesting to find out that Arnold was his coach. They must of had a fallout as we all know Arnold holds grudges. Wanker. Can't wait to boo him when he begins his A league coaching debut. Good luck Eds in your journey.

Are you really his nephew? cos thats pretty mad...

Hey you aussies im a massive football fan and if you australians dont want him my uncle the sheik of kuwait will ask him to play for us we need these types of players. come on be honest he has played more champions league and uefa cup matches then all the players who have played for the national team that are now in the A league.
