German club Borussia Monchengladbach are believed to be keen on Sunderland's Lee Congerton.

The Telegraph is reporting that the Bundesliga side want the Black Cats sporting director to join them in West Germany in a similar role.

Congerton arrived at the Stadium of Light in March 2014 having spent a few years working as SV Hamburg's technical director.

The former Chelsea youth coach, who has been working closely with Sunderland boss Dick Advocaat, has been linked with jobs at West Bromwich Albion, Schalke and Hannover 96 over the past couple of years.
