Borussia Dortmund are battling to keep hold of Nuri Sahin.
The attacking midfielder is reported to have already agreed personal terms with Real Madrid.
Freshly-crowned Bundesliga champions Dortmund admit the final decision rests with 22-year-old Sahin, but also insist there has been no new movement.
Club executive Hans-Joachim Watzke told Deutsche Presseagentur: "There is no news as far as we are concerned.
"I am neither optimistic nor pessimistic, I am no clairvoyant. The final decision will always be Nuri's."
