Liverpool have been dismissed in a £5m push for Borussia Dortmund's free-scoring right winger Jakub Blaszczykowski.
Dortmund president Gerd Piper confirmed Liverpool's interest in setting up a deal for the 22-year-old Pole in the January transfer window.
But he added: "We wouldn't sell him for any amount. He is too important to us."
Dortmund also flatly denied any interest in re-signing Liverpool right-back Philipp Degen.
