Borussia Dortmund target Huddersfield boss David Wagner

Borussia Dortmund want to bring Huddersfield Town boss David Wagner back to the club.

The Mirror says Wagner is being seriously considered for a return to the Bundesliga club where he was in charge of the second team for four years under Jurgen Klopp before he left to manage Liverpool.

Dortmund bosses are concerned at their progress under Peter Stoger – their third manager in less than three years since Klopp's departure.

Stoger replaced former Ajax boss Peter Bosz who was sacked by Dortmund in December after just five months in charge.

Dortmund have been impressed by Wagner's management of Huddersfield's first Premier League campaign on limited resources.
