Borussia Dortmund have told Arsenal to forget about Mario Gotze ahead of the January market.

The Gunners have failed with a tentative £18 million enquiry in recent days for Gotze, says Italian sources.

Arsenal also had a bid rejected in the final days of the summer market for the youngster.

BVB have informed Arsenal reps they will not consider parting with Gotze until the end of the season - at the least.
