German Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund say they will not budge on their desire to sign Shinji Kagawa to a new deal.
The 21-year old Japan international has emerged as a strong target for Manchester United but Dortmund have made it clear that the former Cerezo Osaka man will not be departing Signal Iduna Park any time soon.
Dortmund general manager Michael Zorc revealed that the club has offered Kagawa a new contract which he expects the emerging talent to sign.
"We desire to strike a long-term deal and aren't going to panic because United have reportedly expressed an interest," he said.
