Borussia Dortmund management are determined not to lose midfielder Marco Reus.
After the collapse of new contract talks, it's been revealed Reus' buyout clause is set at €25 million.
The news has alerted the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United with three weeks still left in the summer market.
But BVB chief Michael Zorc insists: "Marco is not only wanted here because of his athletic performance, but also in his role as a figure of identification. He is a hugely important player for us.
"He was born in Dortmund and is a figurehead for this club.
"Of course we want him to stay as long for as possible."
