Borussia Dortmund remain in contact with Chelsea about a new striker signing.

BVB are in the market for a top line centre-forward signing, though won't seek a new deal for Michy Batshuayi. The Belgian enjoyed an impressive six-month loan at Dortmund last season.

Instead, BILD says, BVB want to talk terms with Chelsea over a deal for Alvaro Morata.

The Spain international struggled in his first season in London and is open to leaving this summer. Indeed, it's suggested he has made it clear to BVB he'd be open to a move to Germany.

The stumbling block could be Chelsea's asking price, with Morata having arrived in August from Real Madrid for £58m.
