Borussia Dortmund defender Neven Subotic is on Manchester United's radar.

The People says United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is watching Subotic, 21, who is earning rave reviews in the Bundesliga with Borussia Dortmund. Subotic, who forms the central defensive partnership for Serbia with Nemanja Vidic, is rated one of the best up-and-coming defenders in Europe.

Subotic grew up in the USA and was a key player in their youth setup before falling out with the Under-20 manager.
