Borussia Dortmund defender Neven Subotic is being linked with Liverpool.

Caliomercato.com says one of Liverpool's weaker positions is the centre of defence and Subotic proved to be a favourite of Jurgen Klopp during his time at Dortmund.

The 26-year-old has been managed by Klopp at both Mainz and Dortmund - and the manager now wants to bring him with him to Anfield to tighten up the back-line.

Liverpool fans will perhaps believe that Mats Hummels is the stronger of the two defenders, but Klopp has shown a lot of faith in Subotic and reportedly believes that he can make a big impact on Merseyside.
