Borussia Dortmund are closing on a deal for Barcelona striker Paco Alcacer.

Alcacer is expected in Germany this week for talks with BVB after seeing a move to Alaves discarded.

Alaves were keen to keep the striker in Spain, but found Barca's terms too rich.

Dortmund are now regarded as favourites to sign Alcacer, though he does have other offers on the table.

A return to Valencia fell through earlier this month after their deal for Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi.
