Borussia Dortmund chief Hans-Joachim Watzke says they're prepared for Robert Lewandowski to rundown the final year of his deal.
BVB have ruled out selling the Pole to Bundesliga rivals Bayern Munich, which has led to fresh talk of Manchester United and Chelsea returning to the negotiating table.
"I expect him to show the strength of character that he has shown in recent years, and professionally deal with the situation," said Watzke.
"I am convinced that he will continue to do the same. In 2014, when his contract expires, he may like to go to Munich then."
