Borussia Dortmund chief Hans-Joachim Watzke has scoffed at Arsenal's interest in Mario Gotze next month.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is expected to try again for Gotze after failing with a bumper offer for the German last summer.
But Watzke scoffed: "How many clubs are there where he would improve if he left us? Years ago we would have said, Arsenal and Liverpool.
"Excuse me please: you can't serious. Not in the next few years, anyway."
