Borussia Dortmund chief Hans-Joachim Watzke insists there's been no contact with Real Madrid over Mario Gotze.

Gotze has emerged as a priority target for Real this week, with Marca running an extensive report on their plans to land the Germany international.

"Firstly, there is no offer from Real Madrid," Watzke told dapd. "Secondly, selling Mario Gotze is not something we are considering.

"Therefore, this is like discussing phantom limb pains."
