Borussia Dortmund chief Hans-Joachim Watzke will leave the door open to Shinji Kagawa to return to the club from Manchester United.

BVB coach Jurgen Klopp admits he sounded out Kagawa about returning this summer, though accepts the Japan midfielder wants to succeed in England.

Watzke says: "Shinji said, of his own accord, that he could imagine a return in the future. This naturally makes us very pleased.

"But such decisions always will depend on the current circumstances and whether it suits everyone involved."
