Borussia Dortmund alerted as Man City's Dzeko willing to take pay-cut for German return

Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko is open to a return to Germany in the summer.

BILD says Borussia Dortmund see Dzeko as a replacement for Robert Lewandowski.

Lewandowski will leave BVB in the summer for Bayern Munich and coach Jurgen Klopp sees Dzeko as a like-for-like replacement.

Dzeko is open to returning to the Bundesliga at the end of the season and has made clubs aware he is willing to take a pay-cut to see a move happen.

The 27 year-old currently enjoys a salary at City of €8.5 million.
