AS Roma striker Marco Borriello was thrilled to make history last night.
Borriello's goal handed a 1-0 win over Chievo Verona and made it ten wins from ten games for Roma - a new Serie A record.
"It is the first target achieved, if we want to call it that. It's satisfying that this Roma side has entered the history books, so we're going to enjoy it," the striker told Sky Sport Italia.
"The statistics are impressive. It's pleasing that everyone is having such a great season and I was the only one missing.
"I scored the decisive goal tonight, but Francesco is the added bonus. When he's here, the team plays better - we have to be honest!
"Can this team win the Scudetto? We're travelling fast, but for the moment we've taken another step towards Europe and broke further away from fourth place.
"We don't have much time to celebrate, as on Sunday we've got a very complicated game with Torino."
