Fabio Borini's return to Italy from Liverpool could be held-up by wage demands, reports the London Evening Standard.
Inter Milan, Lazio and Fiorentina are all chasing the 24-year-old forward, who is out of favour at Anfield. The Serie A sides are seeking a loan deal with a view to a permanent move.
Yet Borini earns £55,000 a week at Liverpool and is unwilling to accept a reduction, which puts him out of reach of most Serie A sides.
Both Sunderland and Queens Park Rangers agreed terms with Liverpool to sign Borini but were priced out of the deal by his wage demands, thought to be around £85,000 a week.
