Liverpool striker Fabio Borini has dedicated his first Premier League goal for the club to manager Brendan Rodgers.

Borini was keen to pay tribute to Rodgers and his staff for their support, giving a thumbs-up to the bench after scoring.

He said: "The goal was also for the manager, the staff and my team-mates because it has been hard for me but I wanted to thank them for the work they had done with me."
