Laborde, 23, enjoyed an impressive season for Bordeaux, scoring 13 goals across all competitions as they finished sixth in Ligue 1 - but only six in the league.
The Reds have made enquiries about the striker's availability as manager Jurgen Klopp looks to bolster his ranks ahead of next season.
Laborde has been capped at U20 level from France.
