Sought after Bordeaux striker Marouane Chamakh will decide on his playing future by the end of the month.
The Morocco international will choose between Arsenal and Liverpool as the club he will call home at the end of the current season, when his contract with the French club expires.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has been keen on Chamakh for some time now and Liverpool have also made their intentions clear and are hoping he signs a pre-contract with them.
The 26-year old has confirmed he will not stay on with Bordeaux past the end of this season and says his future will be sorted shortly.
"I will not extend by Bordeaux contract, and I will know more about where I am going this weekend, when I have talked to my advisors," he said.
"I believe that I must decide the club that I am going to, and that things must be explained quickly."
