Bordeaux striker Marouane Chamakh has revealed he could be on his way to Arsenal this summer.

The £8 million-rated forward said: "Yes, I'll go. I hope the leaders will show understanding.

"It is important that both parties get a fair deal for me to leave calmly. I have several contacts, particularly in England.

"There is also something with Arsenal, but there is nothing concrete."
