Bordeaux striker Marouane Chamakh wants a move to Arsenal.
The Daily Express says Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is ready with a £7 million bid and may also be prepared to let French defender Mikael Silvestre join Bordeaux.
"Arsenal would be perfect for me because it is a big club and I know some of the players in the squad," said Chamakh.
