A host of Premier League clubs are tracking Bordeaux defender Ludovic Sane.
The 26-year old Senegal international, who can also be deployed as a midfielder, is attracting interest from the likes of Newcastle United, Everton, Southampton, West Ham United and Wigan Athletic.
Sane says he is happy at Bordeaux for the moment but would love the opportunity to test his wares in England's top flight.
"I am very proud of my season but I have read that there is interest from English clubs in me and that can only be good news," he told skysports.com.
"Every physical and powerful player wants to play in the Premier League and I am no different.
"But there is nothing concrete at the moment and my club Bordeaux have been great to me and have given me an opportunity."
