Bordeaux manager Laurent Blanc admits that he regrets the first leg failure against French rivals Lyon in the Champions League quarter-finals.
Les Girondins went down 3-0 to Lyon in the away leg before producing a much better performance to win the second leg 1-0 at home but it wasn't enough to put them through to the final four, leaving Blanc ruing a missed chance.
"It's more in the first leg that we have regrets," Blanc said. "We did what we had to do in the second leg.
"I have regrets over the first leg, where our lack of defensive experience cost us at least two goals."
