Bordeaux president Jean-Louis Triaud says talks over a deal for Manchester United defender Mikael Silvestre are continuing.

"We carry on discussing and it's not over," Triaud told Le Parisien. "But other options exist.

"We want to be quick in order to have our full squad as soon as possible."
