Bordeaux president Triaud admits Man City could buy Diarra

Bordeaux president Jean-Louis Triaud insists no approach has been fielded from Manchester City for midfielder Alou Diarra.

The former Liverpool and Bayern Munich junior is being linked with a January move to City.

But Triaud insists he's still waiting to hear from City: "We have not had any approach from them to now.

"But this does not mean they are not close to the player. But I would just like to reiterate that the market begins in a week and by then, the rumours will multiply. As usual ..."
