Bordeaux have ratcheted up the pressure on Arsenal over their pursuit of Marouane Chamakh.
The Times says Chamakh, who has been linked with Arsenal and Tottenham, has been offered an extension to 2013 on improved terms to his existing contract, which has one year left.
The Morocco international wants Arsenal to make a concrete offer for him this week.
