Bordeaux's France defender Michael Ciani is interesting Wigan Athletic.
The Mirror says Wigan boss Roberto Martinez wants to sign Ciani on loan from Bordeaux.
Guadeloupe-born Ciani is looking for a move after being squeezed out at his club - just a year after playing for the national side.
The 27-year-old is understood to be keen to play in the Premier League.
