Bordeaux coach Laurent Blanc says he wants to keep on-loan AC Milan midfielder Yoann Gourcuff.

"We've taken a year to take advantage of his talent," said Blanc. "Not everyone was convinced that he would become a major player in Ligue 1, but he's exploded and we have the possibility to keep him.

"I know that one day Bordeaux will become too small for him."
